New motorcycle

Out with the old and in with the new. Buying the new motorcycle was quite exciting and sad all at the same time - saying goodbye to an old "friend."

Test ride to VT

Before heading cross country to St. Louis, Nate and I took a day trip into VT to see how riding the new motorcycle for hours at a time would feel. It was a gorgeous day and a good test. By the time we got home, we decided it was definitely a good idea to purchase the additional seat cushions to pad our sore behinds.

Leaving for cross country trek (see also Graduation & Diamond Lake)

We took off into the morning light, and finally stopped for the night in Dubios, PA and stayed at an OUTSTANDING Best Western (highly recommend it if you're ever in that area!).

The following day we went from Dubios to Indianapolis where we spent the night at Grandma Gina's house (on the floor!). And finally on to Principia (Elsah, IL) for the weekend.

After graduation we drove from Elsah to Cassopolis, MI and spent a week there. Finally, we drove straight home (15 hours non-stop), cut through Canada, and hit rain when we got to MA. We considered stopping but preferred just getting back to the comfort of home. We arrived home soggy and cold, and fell into bed, sleeping until 2:00 in the afternoon.
